Oktoberfood
Food plays an enormous part at the Oktoberfest, there's so much to choose from it causes a massive dilemma (or belly ache if you give in to temptation!).
Each beer tent specialises in different foods however the food available extends far, far beyond the main beer tents. Everywhere you look around the fest there's something wonderful to eat, savoury and sweet!
Scattered all over the place you'll find places selling delicious chickens, bratwurt, fish.....you name it, if it once had a pulse it's been cooked to perfection and is on sale!
On offer is also Honig Brat Mandeln (honey roast almonds) - these are amazing!
Look out for Biersuppe (beer soup), giant pretzels, suckling pig....I could go on forever.
